At Del Aire Elementary, we believe in nurturing well-rounded students who thrive both academically and personally.

Our diverse range of extracurricular activities provides students with opportunities to explore new interests, develop skills, and have fun outside the classroom. Check out what’s on offer and see how your child can dive into exciting experiences!

Extracurricular Programs

  • Ni Hao Mandarin Language Immersion
    Dive into the Mandarin language with our fee-based immersion program, Ni Hao. Students can enhance their linguistic skills and cultural awareness through engaging lessons.

  • Chess Tutors
    Learning chess may seem like just fun and games, yet studies have shown that learning chess greatly enhances a child's educational experience and improves academic performance.

  • Tennis
    Coach Kelvin Brown, member of the United States Professional Tennis Association, is teaching students the basics of Tennis.

  • GATE Program
    The Gifted and Talented Education program is available for qualified students in grades 3-8. Students identified are involved in a support program stressing higher level thinking skills and curriculum expansion. All third grade students are screened in the Fall for GATE identification. Please let your teacher or office know if you wish to exempt your child from the universal screening process.
