Wiseburn students and families made meaningful progress during the Wiseburn Winter Attendance Reset (December 22–January 4). Through LROP, students successfully made up 1,238 school days since the start of the school year, resulting in an estimated $66,852 in recovered funding that goes back into supporting Wiseburn students, programs, and classrooms.

Wiseburn Schools Named to the 2025 California Honor Roll

Aviation Elementary, Del Aire Elementary, Wiseburn Middle School, and two Da Vinci schools — Da Vinci Science and Da Vinci Connect — have been named to the 2025 California Honor Roll by Educational Results Partnership, recognizing sustained academic excellence and growth. Wiseburn Unified also earned distinction as a “Star District” by the nonprofit, whose rankings each year celebrate public schools that are closing achievement gaps and helping students of all backgrounds succeed.

Wiseburn USD was featured in the latest Learner-Centered Collaborative blog, “The Power of Why: How Assessment Philosophies Drive Calibration for Meaningful Change.”

The piece highlights how our team partnered with the Collaborative to align on what success looks like for every learner and make feedback more meaningful—showcasing Wiseburn as a model for schools working to ensure assessments reflect growth, not just grades.
